When we think about Diversity, Equity and Inclusion (DEI), how often do we think BEYOND race, ethnicity, gender and sexual orientation? By not including age, religion and ableism, we leave out a tremendous number of people in this equation for accessibility into a diverse, equitable and inclusive place for all. Increasing inclusivity through accessibility needs to move past policy and towards practice for organizations and individuals alike.
How are enterprise organizations, product focused companies, and local non-profits going beyond the policy requirements to putting into practice what is a basic human need for equity and inclusion for all through accessibility?
Come join us and engage in a conversation focused on creating a community where all people are valued and respected during this “DEI Real Talk” event. Let’s have the tough conversations lead by authentic marketers and advocates, moderated by Stacie Siebrecht, Director of Strategic Partnerships at Disability Rights Washington.
Brought to you by AMA Puget Sound (formally PSAMA), the premier professional marketing association in Washington state.
